Lisa Frankenstein (2024): "All That And A Can Of Beans"

Obsession Month may be almost over, but if Lisa Frankenstein (2024) has taught us anything, it's that not even death is permanent. For our last episode all about love that crosses the line, we knew we had to cover Diablo Cody's new horror romance. Starring scream queen Kathryn Newton and a nearly mute Cole Sprouse (possibly the ideal Cole Sprouse), this fantastical flick combines the bright color palette of the '80s with the weird world of Jennifer's Body — and then brings it all to life with a broken tanning bed. We don't know if it's too soon to declare this movie a cult classic, but one thing we can say with confidence is that it's definitely going to join our Spooky Tuesday sleepover lineup.
